Tom celebrates his Masters as he nears his Chartered Surveyor ambition
A member of the Morris, Marshall and Poole with Norman Lloyd’s Mid Wales team is celebrating after gaining a Masters in Real Estate Management.
Tom Lewis, who is based at the estate agent’s Llanidloes office, gained his MSc to develop his career. It means he can now work towards becoming a Chartered Surveyor by the end of 2022.
“I’m thrilled to have been awarded the Masters. It’s been hard work but well worth it. Property is an exciting industry to work in and I’m now focussed on gaining my Assessment of Professional Competence as part of the route to becoming a Chartered Surveyor with the RICS,” said Tom.
Tom joined MMP/NL in 2017 at the Llanidloes office and has since worked in residential sales, lettings, and valuation.
He’s worked at the company’s offices in Aberystwyth, Machynlleth, Tywyn, Rhayader, and Llanidloes.
Prior to joining MMP/NL, he attended university in Aberystwyth where he gained a Bachelorship in International Politics.
He added: “It’s been great to further develop my knowledge and working in the role I can apply this practically. I’m now hoping to qualify as a Chartered Surveyor before the end of 2022.”
Andrew Turner, a Partner at MMP/NL, congratulated Tom. “Tom’s worked hard since joining us and has shown the drive and determination to become a Chartered Surveyor. The Masters is no easy achievement. It’ll now provide the route for him to attain RICS chartered status.”
