As per Coflein.gov.uk - Cemaes Methodist Chapel was built in 1780, rebuilt in 1810 and rebuilt again in 1875. The present Chapel dated 1875 was designed by architect Richard Owen of Liverpool and built in the classical style of long-wall entry type.
