Top marks as 100 per cent of estate agent’s staff pass professional training qualifications

Staff at a Mid Wales and Shropshire estate agents have passed rigorous training and become Associate Members of the prestigious Guild of Property Professionals.

The achievement means the company, which has nine offices employing over 50 people throughout Powys, Shropshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and in London, can offer customers unparalleled knowledge and expertise in all aspects of estate agency and lettings law, including regulations, Codes of Practice issued by the Guild, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and other professional organisations.

“In order to obtain this qualification you must demonstrate, under examination conditions, a full understanding of the responsibilities of an estate agent, laws and regulations and that means out clients can expect the best possible service at all times,” said Andrew Turner, a partner at MMP.

The company, which also offers property surveying, agricultural, commercial, auctions, lettings and property management, expanded last month with the opening of an office in Rhayader, Powys.

The company now has teams at Newtown, Llanidloes, Welshpool, Oswestry, Machynlleth, Aberystwyth, Tywyn, Rhayader and associates in London.

The Guild of Property Professionals is the largest network of independent estate agents in the UK with over 800 members.
