Morris Marshall & Poole with Norman Lloyed have been favoured with the instructions from Mr T Davies to offer For Sale by Informal Tender 4.3 hectares (10.62 acres of predominately Douglas Fir.
The sale being of Standing Timber only. The woodland benefits from access to the North and South of the woodland. The vendor is flexible in terms of entry to the site. The site has plentiful areas which can be utilised for hardcore standings. A stone track is positioned to the South of the woodland which can be accessed for extraction purposes.
The Standing Timber is located approximately 1 mile from Tregynon. The timber lies on a sloping aspect.
The Standing Timber benefits from many areas adjacent for timber stacking. The timber on offer is well formed and high yielding. The timber is approximately 45 years old.
SITUATION The Standing Timber is located on the outskirts of Abermule, please see the location plan on the attached page.
FORESTRY DESCRIPTION The Standing Timber can be assessed from adjacent fields to the North and the South of the woodland. Access routes will be agreed prior to entering the Timber felling agreement. The vendor is flexible with the location of stacking areas and access routes. The timber on offer is well-formed and high yielding with a variety of species available.
FELLING LICENCES A felling licence has been granted under Section 10 of the Forestry Act 1967 to clear fell the trees marked on the plan. Tree felling under this licence has been approved by Natural Resources Wales as being in accordance with government policy for the sound management of renewable source.
TENURE This is the sale of the standing crop of timber only, the buyer will be provided with a licence by the landlord in order to extract the timber. Draft licence agreements available on request. The licence will be provided once the successful buyer has signed and paid the licence fee. None of the land is being sold.
