Morris Marshall & Poole with Norman Lloyd have been favoured with the instructions from Mr J E Jones to offer for Sale by Informal Tender 2.97 hectares (7.33 acres) of predominately mature Stika Spruce.
The sale being of Standing Timber only. The woodland benefits from a wide and well maintained access track leading directly from the Newtown to Llanidloes Road (A489). There are two parcels of timber for sale, A & B as indicated on the attached plan.
The Standing Timber is located on the outskirts of Newtown, diecctly adjacent from the A489 which is the direct route through Mid Wales. The timber stands on a gently sloping side.
The Standing Timber benbefits from direct road access via a well maintained hard-core stoned access track. There is adjacent land which can be utilised for stacking areas during felling operations, with hardcore stone tracks enhancing access to the centre of the forestry. The timber on offer is well formed and high yielding, predominately made up of Douglas Fir alongside Larch, Norway Spruce, Sitka Spruce and some Broadleaf. The timber is approximately 50 years old.
SITUATION: The Standing Timber is located on the outskirts of Newtown, Powys adjacent to the A489 as shown on the location plan attached.

FELLING LICENCES: A felling licence has been granted under Section 10 of the Forestry Act 1967 to clear, fell the trees marked on the plan. Tree felling under this licence has been approved by Natural Resources Wales as being in accordance with government policy for sound management of renewable source. Natural Resorces Wales inspections have approved that there is no phytophthora ramorum present.
TENURE: This is the sale of standing crop of timber only, the buyer will be provided with a lience by the landlord in order to extract the timber. Draft licence agareemens available on request.
