Believed to have at one time been a village Inn, The Sun Inn/Tafarn yr Haul, up till the early 20th Century. In later years it was the Village Shop selling groceries and household goods. (The sellers still have the shop bell and part of an old customer account). Farmhand tools were produced at the property by William Thomas (whose name is noted above the front shop door). Examples of his work are seen at St Fagans Welsh Folk Museum in Cardiff.
