With four in ten people looking to move out of London due to spiralling house prices, many are seeking properties, employment and lifestyles in areas such as Mid Wales and Shropshire, making it an ideal opportunity for homeowners in the region looking to sell their properties.
Two exhibitions will be held in the capital in September and October promoting properties from Powys, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and Shropshire.
Hosted by estate agent Morris, Marshall and Poole with Norman Lloyd and the Guild of Property Professionals, the exhibitions will take place at the Guild’s Park Lane offices on Friday, 6 September and Wednesday, 23 October.
“More and more people are looking to move out of London as house prices and rent continue to rise. Many homeowners in the capital, or those renting but wanting to buy, are looking at areas away from the South-East of England, such as Wales and the Midlands, to buy a property,” said Martin Moore of MMP/NL.
“The prospect of a good lifestyle, communications, employment and affordable property prices is one reason they are considering areas in Mid Wales and the border counties of Shropshire and Herefordshire.”
MMP/NL, exclusive members of the Guild of Property Professionals in Mid Wales, promotes properties in London and nationally through its membership with the Guild throughout the year.
The two property exhibitions will provide a sole focus on MMP/NL properties on each day, with MMP/NL and Guild staff on hand to discuss opportunities with visitors attending the offices.
Property owners seeking to sell their property can discuss the opportunities with MMP/NL at any of its offices at Welshpool, Oswestry, Newtown, Llanidloes, Aberystwyth, Tywyn, Machynlleth, Rhayader and Bishop’s Castle.
