Five per cent deposit option on new Kerry family homes

The latest properties on an exclusive development of new family homes in Kerry, near Newtown, Powys, have been completed and placed on the market, with the option of a five per cent deposit through the Help to Buy scheme.

The four three-bedroom properties at Dolforgan View in the village will be completed in the Autumn, with two already reserved off-plan, and a further six two-bedroom homes are currently under construction, with one reserved.

The three-bedroom properties are £185,000 and include UPVC double glazing, a fitted kitchen and bathroom, central heating, are energy efficient, and come with a 10-year LABC New Home Warranty.

Off-plan purchase options

Purchasers of homes bought off-plan also have the choice of kitchens and bathrooms as well as tiles.

The development is being constructed by Wyro Developments, a joint venture between local companies Wynnstay Group Plc and SJR Group.

They are being marketed by Morris, Marshall and Poole, one of the leading chartered surveyors and estate agents in Mid Wales and Shropshire.

Potential buyers can undertake a 360-degree virtual tour of the properties online.

Under the Welsh Government’s Help to Buy scheme, there is an option for homebuyers to buy the latest properties with a five per cent deposit, subject to eligibility.

The development includes a mix of family and starter homes and is ideally situated close to Newtown and Welshpool, as well as on the Shropshire border, with Shrewsbury just a short commute away by car.
